The Honda CR-Z gets a performance boost from U.S. tuner Jackson Racing: With a compressor makes the hybrid 51 hp more than the production model. The CR-Z disciples are welcome, because real sports spirit could not spread the 114 horsepower from a 1.5-liter petrol engine plus a 14 hp electric start-up grant from the electric motor so far. But Jackson Racing tickles instead of 124 hp 175 hp performance in the hybrids. The maximum torque rises from 178 to 224 Newton meters.
So shall the pimped CR-Z from Jackson Racing in less than six seconds to accelerate to 100 kph (range 9.9 seconds). In addition to the performance of the tuner at hand also holds special wheels, a sport exhaust, an air inlet for the hood and a new front apron. The tuning kit costs in the U.S., depending on the number of attachments 4000-5000 dollars (about 3200-4000 Euro). In Germany it is not yet available.
Jackson Racing brings the hybrid drive of the Honda CR-V to 175 horsepower - a compressor is due.
