Range Rover IV: Presentation of The New Facility

The new-generation Range Rover will be easier thanks to aluminum-body 400 kilos. Also, a new Range Rover Sport is already in the pipeline and will come in autumn 2013.

Land Rover is working on the fourth generation of the Range Rover. The luxury SUV is developed together with the smaller Range Rover Sport and an aluminum body around 400 kilograms lighter than before - but still weighs over two tons. Inside, the British put the future on a freely programmable display instead of a classic Speedo. The engines will be taken over by the current model, but in the future make 530 hp (supercharged V8, previously 510 hp) and 340 hp (eight-cylinder diesel, 313 hp before).

Air suspension and eight-speed automatic transmission are standard. Premiere for the new Range Rover is in the fall of 2012, later followed by an extended version.
